Hi, my name is Bob! I've been shooting with local models, for fun, for 4 years now during the Summer months. During the Winter, I shoot black and white landscapes, abandoned buildings and general delineation; hence my username. I like to call what I do: Bio-Industrial. Its my way of combining models and the physical elements of long gone business' and newly-ancient structures here in Kansas City. Using the background as a major part of the photo is very important to me. I absolutely DO shoot nudes and implied...so feel free to ask. I'm a very lo-fi photographer, prefering to use as little equipment as possible. I have whats been called, and I may or may not agree, a very stark style of shooting. I shoot very "hard" looking photos, and for the time being, I see no reason to change. I like to do what I can in-camera, and let the Sun work its magic as it sets! I use some electronic flash when I think it might add something to the texture of a photo, but, I tend to use only ambient light. It makes me VERY happy when a model takes an active role in a photo shoot; these are YOUR photos; too. Let me know if you have an idea, I WILL shoot ANYTHING!!!!! I'm different to shoot with as I tend to tell alot of jokes; curse at my camera, and, usually at least once, slip and fall. But, its all part of getting photos that I hope we can both use! I'm very down to earth, actually ENJOY shooting with models and I am fully aware that a photo shoot is NOT a date! I shoot models almost exclusively in an old, industrial part of Kansas City known as the West Bottoms. The area is a never ending source of locations, and there are lots of things to climb, and pose, on and around. A local newspaper called me Kansas City's "Urban Photographer"...its just my way using whats available! I also have been shooting in an in-house studio, that has a very cluttered; retro look. Seamless white paper is NOT my thing. I ONLY shoot TFCD, as I do this because I love it, not for profit; however, I MAY give you some gas money...even I realize it isn't free!!
