New project, currently in pre-production (and tons of badly drawn storyboards)
I find myself working primarily in the constructed photograph genre. Unofficially, I just refer to it as fictional photography. Sometimes violent, sometimes sexual, but usually just something else... stories told through a smirking camera. I'm always looking for people who enjoy the fun of imagemaking and have an interest in acting for the still camera. Contact me if you're interested in a shoot. I'm always looking for participants to take part in my imaginary world.
Professionally, I'm an assistant professor of photography at West Virginia Wesleyan College. I spend my summers as photography faculty at the Maine Media Workshops. Time in-between is spent traveling around America and Canada making new photographs.
