Nerizza soon discovered her love for art and fashion at a young age. She started with sketching her own fashion designs as a child to having a professional career as a make-up artist. She received her training from the renowned and accredited Make-up Designory (MUD) in Soho, New York City, where she received a certificate in Beauty Make-up Artistry. She is also certified by Elke Von Freudenberg, celebrity make-up artist & brow specialist, in her Pro Artist Division for brow maintenance for the professional make-up artist. Her specialties include brows and red lip application.
Nerizza has worked with seasoned industry professionals and celebrities alike. In the last year alone, her projects have included runway shows for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and hip hop mogul/ entrepreneur Russell Simmons' new line Argyleculture; she has appeared on the E! network hit show Kendra, doing her make-up for NY Fashion Week Fashion's Night Out; assisted celebrity make-up artist DeShawn Hatcher; and continues to work shows and events with LAMIK-BEAUTY, an eco-chic make-up brand implemented by make-up artist to the stars Kim Roxie. She has also recently joined the Tuvia Mobile Spa team as a freelance make-up artist.
With Nerizza's keen eye for detail fused with her love for art & beauty, she continues to transform faces for runway, photography, tv/film, and special occasions.
