Having been in the photography industry as a professional photographer for over twenty-five years, reading that statement has truly meant so much to me.  Photography for me is more that just a way to make money but a passion.  A passion to create new and exciting images that will grab the viewer’s attention and pull them in.  Images that hopefully portray the same passion I feel for my craft.

Over the past twenty-five years I have just about taken every type of photograph possible.  I have hung out the side of helicopters shooting aerials, hiked through large factories to shoot industrial images, and braved sand fleas shooting swimsuits on the beach; I have pretty much done it all.  I have photographed thousands of weddings and high school seniors and countless numbers of business, family and children’s portraits.  I have had the privilege of working with past presidents, celebrities, business executives and sports personalities, many of which I still have continuing contact with.

Today although I am still photographing weddings and portraits, my passion has led me to many new and exciting projects.  This year I have been involved in two calendars, had images published on Maxim’s and Playboy’s websites and now involved with a swimsuit company.  Recently I launched a new website displaying my work that evidentially will have new and exciting options for my friends and clients and hopefully serve as a platform to help new models get established.

Although photography is my main profession by no means is it the only thing I am involved in.  From an early age I have been around the graphics arts and printing business, my father actually ran a small printing business out of the basement of our house, so I have been involved with the design of many brochures, catalogs and other printed materials.  With the advent of the computer age, I am now involved with web design as well and have assisted or designed dozens of sites for clients.  In the future, I see these three items becoming more intertwined and the need to be versed in all aspects of the media industry.

I hope that after reading this you have gained more insight into my passions and me.  In my future, I see many new challenges to undertake and exciting images I want to create.  I am currently designing new backgrounds, developing new lighting techniques and exploring new locations to create unique new images and keep the passion burning.
