In a place where it seems as though EVERYONE is trying to model, sing or take part in any type of performing art, it only makes sense to set oneself apart. My work will ultimately have the last word. I don't do this because I like to look at cool pictures of myself or I want to look sexy or I want a hobby that indulges in vanity, which I see so much of here in Tucson. I do this because it's part of who I am. And I have a goal.

Don't be fooled by great editting where everything is perfect! If you check out my personal facebook page, you'll find plenty of pictures of me without makeup, uneditted:)

So I gotta explain myself? I guess it's not too much to ask this time.
In creating a profile here at Model Mayhem, my desire is to network with artists of all types and genres and to gain more experience by working with them. I'm always looking for opportunities to become better at what i love to do. Pictures can move and speak---to be a part of that is something which thrills me.
I live to inspire and be inspired... it's one of my mottos.

When I look in the mirror, i see both a girl and a woman. I'll share with you a *smidgen* of what I've found in her . . . .




Name: La Ren D. Milano

Half Italian, half Mexican.

I'm a pretty goofy individual; life is too short to NOT spare the tears and replace them with laughs, but when it comes to getting to work, I'm very conscientous and hard on myself. My own worst critic.
*Call me a perfectionist who doesn't always get things right the first time.* This presents frustrations which, with determination and drive, will have a successful outcome.

I'm pretty blunt, especially when reflecting. This you will enjoy only because nothing is more refreshing than someone who is not afraid to admit their own downfalls openly. *I may be a different caliber of human, but no, I'm not perfect.*

I am passionate in everything I do.
The art of expression is my obsession.
I'm a very artistic, creative person who loves to sing, act, dance, model and write. I discovered this at about age 5. And I am discovering that these are all very "cool" things to do. Well, let me assure you: I was an artist before all this was cool.

Anything that has to do with photography or what is mentioned above is "right up my alley". ALL of these talents can be incorporated into modeling, therefore I use them all when required. I do take direction really well.


I love to and will continue to perform on stage. (this includes singing, modeling, local runway, theatre, go-go dancing)
Society is bound to see/read/wear something I've produced or passed on.

I'm constantly learning and improving, never pretending to know all there is, however it would be accurate to describe me as "a jack of all trades". Someone once said "a jack of all trades, but master of none"....but when excellence comes abundantly, this is success TO ME. I don't need to be the best in everyone's eyes because nobody seems to want what is truly GOOD anymore or desire concepts that teach a better way of existing. So for those of you who dwell on greed and shallowness: you wont like me or what I teach. You wont approve. The approval that matters to me is only that of the people wise enough to see what's truly GOOD. (and this is when I get mine). So if I'm doing what I love to do, I'm happy. What are YOU doing??

Any photographer with a great team is at the top of my list because this allows the model to be able to focus on the mood and emotion of the shoot, but I'm also capable of filling in where someone else fails.
Since I understand what it takes to create greatness, I of course expect the same from those I work with. You can be sure that a masterpiece is inevitable.

Remember, I'm not just a model, I am an artist---in every way.




Versatile? Very. But this is the type of work I will not take part in:

-Nude
-Distasteful (TASTE is like beauty---it, too, is in the eye of the beholder. This is where your portfolio comes in handy, to see if we agree on what is tasteful and what is not)
