My name is Jai Ferrick. I WAS going to school for dance, until I injured myself in an audition. Thankfully, even though I had to bow out of college for a little while, I've been able to stay active in dance in more than just gay bars; in the past three years, I've learned there's so much more you can do with dance than just company work and music videos. I've had the privilege and the opportunity with some of the most talented artists and entertainers in the country, from drag queens to drag kings, photographers to makeup artists and hairdressers.
I also recognize that my body is far from that of an Adonis, and I'm completely okay with that. I'm healthy and in-shape, and that's what's important to me. I've got a tattoo on my lower abdomen that reads, "Those whom the gods love most die young" - a statement I found solace in years after my mom had passed away.
I love doing work that's both creative and expressive, and I love something that allows me to use both my backgrounds in theatre and dance. Not currently looking to do any nude work, though I have done it in the past; I'm not ashamed of my body, I've just come to the point where I don't really need it in my portfolio anymore. :)
