About me
Hi I'm Jonathan. I'm a photographer. I'm based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Currently doing paid shoots
My aim is to take spectacular photos that are different, have impact, and are creative. I have two main goals: to take impressive images achieve what was intended; and if possible bring out the subjects personality in the images.
I have experience with model shoots (mostly outdoor) and events (parties). I also have a large number of stunning landscapes. I'm very enthusiastic, flexible, and relaxed.
I don't have any plans to specialize but I'm addicted to: Glamorous portraits, Artistic and different, movement capture shots, bikini portraits, Alternative (Gothic, Punk, Vampire, Dark, Piercing) portraits, Landscapes, Artistic and Implied Nudes, and Party photography.
I also want to use my talent in the most open, honest, and understanding way. I dislike being in photos. If you don't like a photo I've taken of you, my rule is: if I can't convince you it's good, and you still want it deleted, then it's gone. Of course, I'm a perfectionist, so most bad pictures I catch and delete fast.
There are a few things that I won't do. I won't take pictures of someone without their knowledge, or of anything illegal. Although I like photos of alternative people there is a limit to how alternative I'll go... ask.
