Bill Morrisey, selected as RAW Orlando's 2012 Visual Artist of the Year, is a painter/photographer who creates large format canvases that incorporate vibrant colors, abstract designs, and nude painted models. He then photographs the models' interaction with the 12ft paintings creating finished works that captivate the viewers' attention and create bold, exciting environments on a large scale. His work is available as limited edition canvases, prints, and live installations. Bill received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the Universtiy of Missouri, Columbia, and has proudly served as Curator of Education at the Orlando Museum of Art, as well as Art Education Instructor at the University of Central Florida. Bill also works as a photographer at Amber LaValle Photography. Amber (MM# 131474) LaValle, Bill's wife, is a model and photographer and her photo studio, Amber LaValle Photography, has created images for national and international advertising campaigns, magazine pictorials, and countless modeling portfolios. Working together, Amber and Bill excel at creating unique and exciting images for portfolios, comp cards, fashion shows, conventions, business meetings, and special events. Their passion for travel can be seen in their coffee-table books, greeting cards, and landscape prints of countries they have visited around the world.
Working in digital format with Canon equipment, Amber and Bill combine state-of-the-art technology with a professional easy going aproach to their work. Always approachable, they truly love what they do.
