Tattoos and piercings are a beautiful form of self-expression and my love of the alternative culture lead me to turn down a contract and decide to work towards becoming an alternative model instead of a high fashion model. I hope that, through my work and that of others, tattoos and piercings can become a more accepted part of our society and that we can combat the prejudices aimed at those who celebrate these forms of self-expression.
