Photographer based between Toronto and Detroit.   Always eager to work with creative, passionate people and have been shooting Art/ Fashion photography for over 25 years.  Prefer artistic nudes but I also shoot portraits, fashion, erotic nudes & architecture.

Currently finishing a book project. All Models who participate in my artistic projects are also eligible to receive a financial return for their participation.  If you have any questions on how that works please drop me a line and I will respond.

I do get paying assignments from time to time and on those occasions Models get paid accordingly.  I have a fairly lucrative payment plan for my Art photography so please inquire about this if you are interested.

About me:
Christopher Cushman was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. Growing up in Detroit in the 60's and 70's gave him a unique perspective on people which is central to and has informed his work to this day. He received his degree in Design and Illustration from Ferris State University. He began his career in photography during the 80's attracted to the portrait as a means to understand the human condition. Christopher has had showings at various galleries in Detroit and has been extensively published. Christopher has specialized in dance photography and has photographed dancers from Alvin Ailey, Garth Fagen and Toronto's own Ballet Creole has published a book on Dance in 2008 entitled "Dance Through Life" and is completing two new volumes, one of portraiture and a documentary piece entitled FIERCE!  Christopher has resided in Toronto for the last 14 years.
