About Me

Zsolt Subert began his career as an apprentice hairdresser in his hometown, Budapest, Hungary after he graduated in 2000. He was 19 years old when he won one of the most outstanding hairdresser competitions in his country, the Hajas Cup. He was trained for a year by the internationally acknowledged Hungarian hairdresser, Laszlo Hajas and for three years. Zsolt worked in his busy salon in Budapest's downtown. In 2004 he joined the Toni & Guy company in the Hungarian franchise salon. Whilst Zsolt was getting successful in both salon and fashion work he won two Toni & Guy competitions in row: category "International" in 2005 and in 2006 he also gained the 1st place in "Collection of the year" category. In 2007 Zsolt's new collection was published in the world-wide issued Toni & Guy Book. Zsolt moved to London in 2007 with the aim of getting more experience and professionally improving himself. He worked in Covent Garden, in the one of the most prestigious Toni & Guy Essensuals salons and for the well known HOB companies where he got trained by Akin Konizi (HJ's British Hairdresser of the Year 2008 & 2009), Christel Lundqvist (2008 British Hairdressing Awards Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year), Darren Bain (2009 London Hairdresser of the Year)
Zsolt also assisted for the well known fashion hairstylist Rudi Lewis.
Zsolt moved back to Budapest in 2010. In 2010 he created his first company the Gamma and Bross Hungary, www.salonsmart.hu and six month later he opened a high end franchise SACO hair salon in Budapest downtown. Also became the exclusive distributor of Kevin Murphy in 2011, also done the Kevin.Murphy education to understand even more the product and the ideology. www.kevinmurphy.hu , BigBlade www.fodraszollo.hu , BigBrush in 2011.
