Hi, My name is Chelsea Storm.
I am looking to do hair, network, and/or become employed. I'm hoping this site will help me avoid a cubical situation.
I have a BA in advertising and I am a licensed cosmetologist.
I love it all... any type of hair, makeup, coordinating, sales, etc.
Heck, if you think I could I would even love to model...my height could be a problem. (details include: 5"2, 32-25-33, 110 pounds, brown eyes, dark hair, age 24).
Doing hair is my true passion, and it is my own personal therapy. I really like to put things in ones hair: cans, feathers, extensions etc. I have a classic style overall, but I love to get really creative with up-do's, and cuts. (I'm working on getting a better camera to display my work...cash in- cash out)
As for advertising: My strengths include creating concepts, writing copy, and sales. I'm still working on the graphic art/design/editing side. I guess I'm half creative and half account executive.
I love that Paul Mitchell is combining with extreme sports. I think its a genius niche marketing move, and I am desperately trying to be apart of it. I just love the company's culture. Combining both my fields would be ideal! I have apprenticed, I have experience working behind a chair, and I been on sets of photo shoots.
I really want my own studio! I'm working on the experience and the funding for such.
I would really like to be in the San Fransisco area within the next year. I just went to visit a friend and fell in love with the area!
I'm an Italian Gemini...that should sum up everything.
