Hi there

My name is Shadia and I am an HND qualified Make up Artist. I am currently working toward my BA Hons Degree qualification in Birmingham.

I have been obtaining work experience within industry since age 15, and have worked for on London West End theatre shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and Mary Poppins through Cameron MacKintosh Productions.

I have always been passionate about theatre and chose to do my first year graded unit, not on a designer but on award winning choreographer and directer Bob Fosse. He inspired my three looks and I achieved an A for this portfolio.

I previously worked part time for the prestigious Japanese make up artist company Shu Uemura and have taken several learning ateliers to enable me to perform a Japanese method in application. I now work part time as a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics.

I also work closely with fashion graduates, hairdressers, photgraphers, nail technicians and models to further develop my freelancing work in fashion, editorial and bridal work.
