I'm a professional fashion and celebrity photographer in NYC.
I have a new studio in Brooklyn.
I am available to shoot fashion and beauty for paid tests. A few hundred dollars spent that will be the best investment you will make in your career.
I will probably shoot you for free if you have a killer body and own some amazing lingerie. I need that for my book.
I will certainly entertain other reasons why I should shoot you for free. If you convince me, I insist on meeting people before I work with them (unless geographically impossible). Personality is as important to me as looks, maybe more. If you're too lazy to simply meet me first, a shoot will never happen. It's that simple. My time is far too valuable to waste for someone who might not show up. I have zero tolerance for flakes.
The number of terms people use for shoots on this site are out of control. If you are a beginning fashion model, this is all you need to know: In the fashion industry there are only two kinds of shoots; Tests and Jobs. A test is any shoot that is not a job. Models pay photographers to test, otherwise everyone does it for free. When you are shooting something for your portfolio, that is called a test. If I ever test you for free, you will get some retouched images for your portfolio.
Key Points:
*I am only on this site as a creative outlet and for testing purposes. The reality is that I only book models for jobs through model agencies.
*If I am possibly interested in shooting you and I ask to meet you, I am not asking you to pay me. That being said, I will NEVER pay you.
*If you think I cant take amazing pictures of you without full hair and makeup, you probably shouldn't be modeling. Seriously.
* No Boyfriends on shoots, EVER. Showing up with your boyfriend is very unprofessional. I used to make an exception for girls who were paying me, but the last guy ruined that for everyone. Never again. If he still shows up because you can't read (or choose to ignore my very clear statement above), I will most certainly send him or both of you away. There is no changing my mind. I don't want to shoot anyone that bad.

If you need more than 12 people as references, I might need to get some references from you to figure out what your paranoid deal is...The rest are professional supermodels and actors, so no, I can't give their numbers as references. I have shot nudes with many, but I will not show you unless they have them publicly posted. I respect my subject's privacy.
