My name is Shemara.  I am a couturier in Dallas, Texas and have been designing couture, custom evening gowns, cocktail dresses and wedding gowns since 1994.  I studied fashion design and art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and first started freelancing couture custom designs in Chicago.   In my creations, I use the finest fabrics impoted from all over the world.  I love to use fabulous fabrics, embellishments, intricate details and color in my designs.  My work has been show nationally and featured in several magazines and articles - such as D Magazine, La Mode, Park Cities People ect. My newest work is a line of contemporary mens dress shirts in fabulous fabrics and detail.
