I'm Max: passionate, high energy, and a huge dork. I am serious about my art, but I like for a shoot to be more than just making pictures. Exploration, collaboration, and creation are my outlet for all the energy that bubbles up in me. I'm probably about 60% geek, 30% romantic, and 10% pure, unfiltered AWESOME... but don't take my word for it, feel free to contact references (see credits)!
I'm interested in any kind of photography I can get my lens on. Fashion, beauty, glamor, artistic, pinup, dressed up, tied up, whatever. If it sounds like I can't make up my mind, it's because I've decided not to settle in one place artistically. We should embrace change and learn as much as we can from it while it is still shiny and new.
If you are a model, stylist, or MUA with a vision or look you want realized, send me a message. I'm open to TFP/CD and I love to collaborate. I use a digital SLR. I'm reliable about getting TFP work to all participants quickly (usually one web size edit within a week). I do photoshop touchups. I do all my own stunts.
I've got a wife and mortgage, so I can't afford to throw a lot of money around, but I can make a delicious Thai curry or other sundry home cooked foodstuffs by way of compensation...
Just a heads up, I've got a day job to pay the bills, so it will be weekends and evenings only for me. Before you write me off as a poser, check my references. Photography is my passion, not just a fun hobby.

I've met a couple different MUAs and Stylists who might consider TFP for the right project. Getting our schedules to coincide has been tricky however, and they are in high demand, so please don't be offended or surprised if one or both decline a shoot. I'll be sure to let you know well in advance who can and can not be there.

Project Ideas!
Rock Climber: A location shoot at Castle Rock or possibly a climbing gym if they'll allow it. Active-wear, commercial styled shoot.
Hot Librarian: Classy hot, not raunchy hot. Think prim, perfect, and unattainable. Wardrobe - Glasses, hair in a bun, button down shirt, pencil skirt, high heels, makeup to bring out the lips. Location - hopefully a library...
Mucha Experiment: Highly stylized portrait made to imitate an art nouveau lithograph. Pale and exaggerated makeup to make the face look 2 dimensional, robes or otherwise flowing clothing. A bit complex to try to fully explain here, but it would require extensive hair and makeup.
From Russia with Love: A red-scare soviet themed pinup. I've got a green captain-hat with black brim, fur coat, and fake AK-47... Is good to be bad, eh Boris?
High Class: I've found that, if you are nice, sometimes fancy vinyards and hotels will let you take pictures in their opulent lobbies and reading rooms... the perfect locations for super-fancy ballroom gowns and the like. This would be a lot of hair and makeup work along with fancy clothes. Like, bustles and pearls fancy...
