Welcome to my profile. :)
My name is Sabrina. I live in Maryland, and have my whole life. My personality is a wonderful mix of contradicting characteristics. I am grounded, yet free spirited. I am driven, yet cautious. I like to have fun, but I need to be responsible. And I can be goofy, but yet I take my work seriously. I have been modeling for over a year now, and have worked with many amazing people in the industry.
I have dreamed of modeling since I was a teenager (when I finally realized I was a girl. lol) Until then, I was a total tom-boy, and never would have thought that I was beautiful, or anything of the sort. My sister was always the girly one, and when I entered high-school, she forced me into the first skirt that I had worn since my mom was picking out my clothes. That was the moment that would start the transformation into the woman I am now. :)
As we were growing up, my mom tried to give us opportunities to enter the modeling field. We attended several model searches, and enrolled in a modeling school, before we had to drop out because of the financial burden. Now, thanks to networking sites, like MM, I am back in my pursuit of a modeling career, and am ready to roll!!!! :D
Since my first photoshoots, I have learned a lot, and have created a little list of things that I would like to be considered before someone contacts me. These are not here to offend or discourage anyone, but rather to help you understand what I expect, and
1. I like to have a guest at all photoshoots. The people I choose to have with me are always respectful, and often helpful. They are not there to get in the way, but just to provide support and a sense of security for me.
2. Although (like everyone) I would prefer paid work, I do consider Tons of TF, if I feel that the photographer or the concept will help me build my portfolio. Always feel free to ask!
3. I do require reimbursement for travel, if I have to go 50 miles or more for the job.
4. Modeling is currently a hobby for me. It does not pay my bills, and until it does, I have to work Monday through Friday, 7 to 5. I can consider paid work on week-days, if I receive more than 2 weeks notice.
5. I have an upbeat, positive attitude. I like to keep the atmosphere light and fun, but please don't mistake that for not taking the work seriously. I know what I am there to do, and that is my primary focus.

I wish everyone would remember this in everything they do. It is so difficult to get started, when no one will give you a chance. And it's hard to be perfect at something you've never done. The key is to study practice, and give it a try. You are still failing at something if you don't even try it.
