I've noticed that almost all of the photographers on MM are either 'experienced' or 'very experienced'. I have elected to claim only 'some experience' on my profile.
While I am extremely comfortable with cameras and photography, my body of work features mostly rural landscapes. To be perfectly honest I've tired of shooting barns and cows. I grew up loving the photojournalism of Life magazine (and other similar stuff) and I know the compelling aspects were the interesting people and the intimate glimpses of the human condition.
So here I am ... wanting to shift gears and start photographing people.
I've made a modest investment in lighting gear and I've read countless books and articles and watched hours of tutorials on studio lighting. Now it's time to take some pictures!
