About me

Tina Phan...22 year old award-winning photographer/visual journalist/student based in Austin, Texas. Just graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism/photography. Basically I would love to go into the visual side of journalism as a career...i.e. photojournalism, videojournalism.

I've already had my pictures published in a nationally distributed magazine (SXSW Music coverage!) at the age of 19, worked for a major record label and I'm currently an editor for my university's newspaper after being a photographer/videographer with them for 2 years.

Since I have a photojournalism background, the majority of my pictures are documentation, observations and stories of the world around me. Because of this I rarely pose people for photos so I joined Model Mayhem to improve my portrait skills, so please...let me take your photo :)
