Hi, I am piet vermuë, a dutch photographer, my free work has mainly the male figure as subject. I want my pictures to be erotic and that they have the impression of a still life. "A picture has to have the ability to call up emotions". I only try to make make pictures of what I regard to be beautiful. "Each encounter of the viewer with my work is an encounter with my fantasy". The challenge is to create a reliable two-dimensional picture out of a three-dimensional staged situation.
"What really is important, is what happens within the frame of the picture". Most of my free work is in black and white, for that makes them timeless. For many years now I have been working as a free lance photographer, mainly specialized in portraits and reportages. An international portfolio with my work appeared in Germany (Euro's), France (Trixx), Holland (Magayzine), Italy (Babilonie) and United Kingdom (Mister). Pictures also appreared in various magazines like Playgirl (USA).
I also was in charge of series and covers for the German publisher Bruno Gmunder (Manner Actuel, the Spartacus Gay Guide) and the Dutch Gaykrant. Models with a good appearance and body I'm willing to shoot TFP.
