I'm a hobbiest photographer at best right now. I really enjoy fetish, burlesque and vaudeville work so its what I prefer to photograph.
Its been a while since I got the chance to be involved in any live shoots or make any photos that I would be proud of. I always end up feeling guilty (and unsatisfied) when Ive left that side of me alone for an extended period of time. So with the free time that I've got and the expanding opportunities around me I want to take the chance to push myself back into this.
Im experianced in studio photography- I worked at GlamourShots in the Oakview Mall as a photographer for roughly 5 months before I had to leave for school. I prefer studio photography because it gives me the control of every aspect of the photgraph that I prefer to have. However, I cant afford a studio so everythings always a work in progress!
I like to try all sorts of photography- abstract, portraits, landscapes, fetish and anything that really catches my eye. Somedays I feel so damned stupid for not having my camera on me.
At the moment what Im really looking for is the opportunity to photograph models, or even sit in on a shoot with people that share the same interests just to start learning. What I have is not much, yet, but I'm always open to constructive critisism and ideas. There are few occasions when I know what I want the model to do. But I sure now how to focus and press the damned button! I almost always have a few ideas after warming up, though.
If anybody in the area is interested in helping a beginner photographer- be it an experianced model, photographer, make-up or beginner of the same- please dont hesitate to get ahold of me. I'm always looking for inspiration and that bit of motivation.
