In more than 30 years as a professional photographer, I have been behind the camera for some 1,000 weddings, thousands of portraits, countless proms, debutante balls and other special events. Coupled with an extensive variety of photo journalism, commercial & motorsports experience and the fact that I have worked for several of the premier portrait and commercial labs in the country, as well as a past owner of studios, printing & marketing companies, I believe I bring a wealth of information to those I connect with.

Too often photographers get caught up in the hardware and technology of this business. I learned early on that my job is just as much about making a personal connection with the subject as it is about getting the lighting and exposure right.
Everyone is at least a little self-conscious in front of a camera, so it's up to the photographer to set clients at ease so they can be themselves. I take a genuine interest in the people and events that I'm shooting, and I believe that's reflected in the finished product.
