Mayhem # 1500196
About MeModeling is a hobby for me, and though it makes an occasional profit, it's the art and the pleasure of creating it that drives me. I work on both coasts and internationally so I'm never in the same spot for too long. Between work and work, I need to let out that inner artist, and my favorite way to do that is by being the subject of someone's creative vision, with as much or as little of my input as is mutually desired. I tend to gravitate towards placid, dreamy photos, like the ones I have posted, because they remind me of the down time I am rarely able to have.
I am open to exploring anything and everything, including sporty shots, nudes, implides, outdoor/nature settings, and anything abstract and odd is fair game as well. I want to capture my youth and beauty, whether it's with independent artists looking to build their portfolios or companies looking for a model to model what they're selling (clothing, products, professional services, the sky is the limit, provided it's not adult-only material). Please keep in mind that I WILL NOT WORK FOR A FLAT FEE IF I'M PARTICIPATING IN A PROJECT THAT INTENDS TO MAKE A PROFIT OVER TIME. I ONLY WORK ON A PERCENTAGE BASIS OF THE PROFITS.
I have just one concern, which is something I let everyone know about before we shoot, and that for the sake of my career and image I cannot risk my colleagues, clients or any business associates seeing me in any questionable positions or images. I want to mitigate any fallout should there ever be a chance meeting of those two worlds, by keeping my images highly artistic, beautiful, and respectable (that does not exclude nudes, as long as they're tasteful). With that said, I am only willing to sign releases for the photos that we mutually agree can be used for the promotion of your work and your studio and on which sites they would be displayed. Thank you for being understanding and flexible on this point.
I won't sign a full release for a TFP, only for a project for which I have been hired on a percentage of the profit basis. Any use of any images for any purpose by any party should be by mutual consent only. I have no problem with you using them for self-promotion on MM or your own websites, as long as you run by me which image you'd like to use. We can work out some creative agreement in terms of who gets rights to which images after a TFP, my paying you for some and you paying me for some to which we would want the respective rights, and at that point we'd sign a release for those images. If I give you rights to an image I would have no issue with it being displayed in a gallery somewhere, or whatever way you chose to promote your work. We can also share copyright if it makes sense for some images and some purposes. If there is to be a commercial or profit-producing usage of the image, we'd just incorporate that into the release and it would be a matter of consideration in our agreement. I'm very easy going and agreeable about things, and it's much easier to be that way if there's an easy understanding and camaraderie between myself and whomever I'm working with.
I reserve TFP shoots for artists who like to experiment, push limits, and whose work fits my vision. Of the artists that shoot digitally, I would work with those who don't succumb to the tendency of getting careless with each shot they take knowing they can take many. I don't believe that having a large sum of photos taken necessarily yields higher chances of a higher number of good end results; it is taking care with each click that does. Again, I'd like to be able to have rights to some of those images and am willing to sign a partial release for some the photographer may want, so please be ready to discuss those options before and after the shoot instead of just assuming I'll shoot TFP and everything will be released to you. Feel free to write to me about TFP if you feel your talent and unique style are at the acme of the field. I am in it for art's sake, and given the right opportunity we both could benefit immensely.
I would like to focus on high art and high fashion, and focus less on nudes. The key is a beautiful, respectable image that evokes intrigue, fascination and awe, and not anything that one would place in Maxim or Penthouse. Highly erotic and sexualized is the opposite of image I am looking to portray in a nude or any other shoot; I'm looking for art.
I am NOT interested in:
- cliche Maxim style poses (though eroticism is not out as long as it's extremely tasteful, not raunchy at all)
- crumpled white bed linnens (unless you do something amazing with them)
- lingerie shots where I'm pulling on my undergarments and look like a stripper
Looking forward to working together,
