This is the face you'll have to deal with if you shoot with me(basically I'm a huge nerd):
I don't like typical model photo shoots... they bore me. You find someone you don't know, tell them to arch their back and pout for the camera. It's all so fake. I want my photography to be a capture of what I really see, to catch a moment where the person LOOKS like a model in that perfect pose, but really they just laughed at some silly comment and really felt natural. I love shooting singers and bands because they have great stories to tell and it's usually refreshing for both of us to have a completely different type of photo shoot. Long exposures and creating unnatural lighting with flash is always intriguing and unexpected, so night photography tends to be my bread and butter. I'd like to make some new friends, get some ideas and maybe just find some people who don't mind my camera stuck in their face while we're walking around hanging out.
I'm a graduate fresh out of college, working full time and slightly underpaid... basically I'm poor. So unless we can both find some great paying gig to collaborate and share the wealth, all I can give you is some good high-res JPEGs or a CD if you really want, and maybe a print or two if we have the time and resources.
I finally upgraded my camera, moved up to shooting with a Nikon D300s, and I'm itching to get out there and shoot more, so let's make some pictures!
Also, if you get a friend request from me, it usually means that you're somewhere close to my area and I want to keep you in mind/keep in touch so that maybe we can shoot one of these days. Accept or deny the request depending on if you even like my work, hah :^)
