Iâm a writer, performance poet, History re-enactor, and now an amateur photographer too. From performing in cabarets alongside many burlesque performers, and writing reviews of their shows, I was invited to support The Faint Fascinations modeling group, an experimental group who work with models of all shapes and sizes, and photographers of varied levels of experience. Though initially invited as a model, I was soon showing potential as a photographer as well, and from taking behind the scenes shots, I was soon taking a few amateur photos properly, with invaluable support and advice from the more experienced photographers and models.
I'm currently working mostly, but not exclusively, for free to develop my skills and my style, Iâm hoping to develop my photography as a means to illustrating my poetry and prolific writing, (including horror, science fiction, humour, and erotica) Models are always welcome to bring an escort along to my shoots. As well as photographing models I take photos of pub signs, nature shots, and many general subjects. Many of my photos appear on my Facebook and Woophy pages.
