I'm a professional videographer/creative director, but photography is my outlet. Often I may lay around my apartment for a while, then get a shot of inspiration. After a brief rationalization, I call everyone in my phone to see if they can help as talent OR tech. Then no one answers their phone, and my idea fades away.

This is the common process for me. So hopefully Mayhem can help out a little.

I like to do things practically. I prefer hidden threads, mirrors, forced perspective, and projectors over photo manipulation software. Its not an elitist thing, just a preference. That means a lot of experimenting, and a lot of failure.
