Mark Susan

I work in both Los Angeles and Phoenix and have a house in both cities. I shoot fashion, ads, commercials, music videos and short films.  I work with a fiercely driven crew of talent consisting of grips, gaffers, sound, DPs, PAs, etc. for both commercial and creative projects.

If you have a strong look and a great attitude, I'm always up for some photo testing... but only if you're able to fulfill the needs of one of my side-series I'm shooting.  They're often edgy and may require you to leave more behind than you've done in the past.  Well, c'est la vie.

























Mark Susan is a professional photographer and motion director based out of Los Angeles, California. He has found inspiration from his experiences in Europe, Asia, Mexico and the United States and feels grateful to be able to work among so many other talented and creative people on a daily basis.

Mark grew up overseas in a family committed to experiencing social and cultural diversity. His childhood was filled with visits to historical temples and national museums, while tasting everything from Korean kimchi to Scottish haggis.

He graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics, but decided to navigate away from his career in business consulting to pursue his passion for the creative arts. Now he shoots photos and directs films and treatments for magazines, agencies, musicians, designers, actors, restaurants, corporate clients and private commissions.

In addition to his work, Mark also volunteers as a mentor in the Youth at Risk program where he donates time each week working to be a positive role model for an amazing 6th grade child.

Currently, he has homes in both LA and Phoenix and travels between the two as his schedule dictates.
