Just moved to CT from Los Angeles. Will be updating profile soon.
--Currently seeking models for TFP--
I would like to add some more beauty/glamour images to my portfolio.
I’m a 27 year-old photographer in Los Angeles. Like many other photographers on this site, photography is not my day-job. My day job is in the feature film industry in the visual effects department.
Like many others on Model Mayhem I have a passion for photography.
I started shooting in college, with the usual landscapes and artsy still life photos. Eventually that progressed to editorial photography and photojournalism. All of this is fun, but I find shooting with models is more fun and challenging.
I would love to be working full-time as a photographer in Los Angeles, but as many of you are aware there are A LOT of people trying to do the very same thing out here. I think I am good, but I am also good at what I do for my day-job, and my day job allows me to keep working on my photography and maybe someday I can claim that as my day-job.
With all this being said, my availability to shoot is currently only on nights and weekends, at least until mid-August (when I wrap the job I am currently working on).
I would love to team up with some like-minded models and designers who want to get their work seen. I’d love to be shooting for websites and local fashion publications. I believe the LA fashion scene is awesome, and I would love to be photographing it. I am more of a t-shirt guy myself, but I love what the “cool-kids” are wearing.
I am experienced in digital, and am beginning to venture out into shooting on medium format film. The transition to shooting on medium format film has been great and I am blown away by what can be shot on a camera made in the 1970’s.
I treat all shoots in a professional manner, and I expect you to do so as well. I’m prompt and courteous, and I expect you to be as well. I’m a friendly guy to work with, somewhat shy to start, but that’s just to start. I ALWAYS treat models with respect. I would NEVER ask a model to do anything outside of their comfort zone, we are here to work with each other and there is no need to treat someone poorly.
Ok, that’s it. Congrats if you read this whole thing. Please message me; I’d love to set something up.
