I'm interested in shooting portraits, fashion, artistic subjects, or anything interesting and unusual. I've mostly done location shoots with natural lighting, reflectors and occasionally strobes. Recently, I've put together a makeshift studio and I'm beginning to do shoots there as well.
I shoot with both digital and film cameras. My primary digital camera is a Canon DSLR. I also shoot with film cameras ranging from a Canon T90 35mm to a variety of vintage 120 and 127 roll film cameras. I collect vintage lenses, and sometimes shoot with a digital camera and vintage manual lens to achieve interesting effects. I'm out shooting lens tests a few times per month, usually on weekends in the downtown Dallas area and frequently with one or two other local photographers. I'm always up for having a model or two come along.
My goal is to do one TFP shoot every month. I've got several project and ideas I'm working on but I'm open to any ideas you may have as well. If you'd like to shoot with me, send me an email and let me know when you're available and what sort of shoot you're interested in. Models are always welcome to bring a friend or escort to shoots. I hope each shoot we do will be fun as well as produce some creative photos we can both use in our portfolios! After the shoot, I'll try to deliver some nice-looking edited photos as quickly as possible, usually within one week or less. If we do a film shoot, please keep in mind that processing and scanning film takes a little more time than digital.
I'm also open to doing a paid shoots. While I've only got enough time for one TFP shoot each month, I'll happily make time for a paid shoot. I'm not too expensive. This is more of an artistic endeavor for me, not a full-time job; so I'm primarily looking at recouping equipment costs.
