Dr. Hazel, is taking Education and Entertainment by storm. A Chicago native and graduate of the University Of Illinois, with a Doctoral Degree in Education. Gifted in the performing arts (singing, dancing, modeling & acting), Dr. Hazel is a motivational coach and advocate of higher education achievement. She emphasizes the importance of maximizing individual potential in order to positivity impact communities and local government. In order to do this, Dr. Hazel has developed a Children Television Program that will help to bridge the gap of educational disproportions between inner city and suburban schools by fusing performing arts into the educational curriculums.

Brenda Pickleman, director of the film US Marshals, was Dr. Hazel acting coach. Hazel’s acting ability landed her the role “Sheretta” in the film “Quake,” directed by Delvin Molden and casted by Sharon King. She has starred as the Fox Anchorwomen in the film “Light it Up”, staring Usher Ramon, Glen Thurmon, and Vanessa Williams, produced by Laface Edmonds.

Dr. Hazel first commercial was in 8th grade staring in a NBC €œDrug Free€ commercial featuring Kim Fields. Other Commercial appearances €œPick a Payment€ and Luna Carpets. Dr. Hazel has also appeared in various television shows including Warner Brothers Your Hired, Fox Network €œAmerican Idol€ and was the winner of the Model / Vocalist Entertainment Extravaganza shown on the Channel 19 network.

Dr. Hazel continues to utilize her modeling talents for print ads and as a spokesperson for various company marketing campaigns. She has traveled nationally as the €œKing Cobra€ and Budweiser Calendar Model and Spokesperson. She was crowned Miss Afrique€ for the newspaper sponsored by Brass Communications. She was on the cover page of rushstreetmedia .com, an online magazine and featured in the article “Not Just a Pretty Face”.

She has been featured in the stage play €œUnbound€ with Paula Marie Productions and “Forgotten Pearls€ with Joy Entertainment. As a vocalist, she is coached by Eric Areneal and the legendary Lena Mc Lean. Song-writer, choreographer, producer, and vocalist, Dr. Hazel has participated in CD€™s €œFace to Face€ and the €œThrone Room and will be releasing a solo project in the year 2010. As a former Chicago Police Academy graduate, she has extensive stunt experience. Professionally, she has danced with a number of music artists including recording artists Do or Die, R. Kelly and Shekinah Glory. Dr. Hazel has trained with Endure Production Company headed by Kim Tyler; and was the Dance Director and dancer for the Chicago Steam Basketball team.

She continues to accept projects which includes the Performing Arts and Educational Endeavors to continue to produce and write Educational Television Shows for Children. At this time, Dr. Hazel works non-exclusively.
