Hello Model Mayhem. My name is Jeffrey Daniel. I am a professional print photographer that has taken several years off to start my own clothing company out of Michigan, Empire Seven. Empire Seven is a motorsport apparel company based out of Michigan which retails nationwide and was started in 2005.
My portfolio is on here for two reasons. First I am looking to get back into Photography and principal art production as I have a hard time hiring the right people to pull off what I need requiring to do my own work. Turns out if YOU want it done right then YOU have to do it yourself. Secondly I am here to network with various like-minded individuals in all aspects of my art through my company to meet new individuals to work with. My portfolio is 99% motorsport based as all of my professional photos have been print work with automotive enthusiast publications. I have current residency in Macomb Michigan, however I am looking for respective people across the country to work with. We predominantly travel to California, Nevada, Texas, Chicago, Indiana and Florida mostly.
After a recent hiatus in 2011/2013 due to a automotive related injury I am returning as owner and operator of Empire Seven. What is EMPIRE SEVEN? As an Empire you have the three tier of unity. beginning aspect starts the seven areas of motorsport giving you your foundation and strength, this is our element for the clothing garnment. This includes your wide variety of racing and motor inspired notions. Second aspect level features your seven elements of life giving you substance and the feel for where the design will go with color. The third aspect involves the seven deadly sins to equate the overall attitude of the final design. All three tiers of unity produce Empire Seven and give the apparel it's life blood.
I am always looking for people to work with to help propel our company into the future. If you think you have something that can contribute to this whether you are a model, photographer, graphic artist, designer, mua, etc please contact me i'd love to hear from you.
Now for my personal side. Photography has always been a passion for me and I am fortunate to have the opportunity to use my passion to fuel what I do in life.. I suggest any of you reading this to do the same if you are not already.
My background within photography beyond my initial passion to take pictures with a Polaroid and the old 35mm cameras originally began with me working as an intern for a local automotive publication out of Royal Oak shooting readers rides and dealer editorials called S3, SPEED-STYLE & SOUND Magazine. Eventually progressed to published stills for primedia which publishes such magazines as Hotrod, GM Hightech, Popular Hotrodding and SuperChevy..
In 2005 I took my passion and began what is now known as Empire Seven. I have stayed behind the scenes holding only a few of my own shoots in the beginning when needed or for fun. Photos posted here are a few of the variety from the shoots taken on my own as well as photographers I have worked with.. Necessary photos give credit where needed to represent this.
Many people claim photography is their passion, I'd have to agree however print photography is my real passion. I am looking to branch out and work more within all ranges of photography, not just within our my company scope.
As well as the above I am always casting models for event photography as well. There isn't much that I do not work with. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I look forward to working with you!
