Raised in West Philadelphia. I have been observing people, places, and things for as long as I can remember. When my grandmother would employ PBS Television as our favorite babysitting aid. I would enjoy watching National Geographic and Nature for their non intrusive documentary style. This became the basis of how I photograph.

I started photography in 1989 on a suggestion from a childhood mentor who noticed how much I loved his Life magazine collection. I would analyze the pictures over and over, captivated by the images telling the story of human emotion and spirit.

Being uncritical, patient, and encouraging are the hallmarks of my style. I try to capture the story and positive essence of whatever I shoot choosing to even forgo flash sometimes so the moment can be captured unobstructed.

I photograph parties, events, engagement/couples, and products.
