Hi, I work for a small design and marketing agency, which is owned by a print company. As such most of our work is brief lead and is usually where stock photography can't be sourced for the particular job.
As you will imagine most of my work ends up published in one form or another. From flyers, catalogues or press adverts to online content. Occasionally we will engineer a shoot so that the resulting images can be sold on afterwards to online stock libraries.
Our assignments can vary from photographing a Band to Guest House, from an Industrial Plant to a Clothing Range. Unfortunately I am at the blunt end of the industry and a lot of our shoots are short and sweet, get the image and get out! time is money etc etc, once in a blue moon the lovely big budget wanders through and these are the shoots we all enjoy the best :)
On a personal note it is nice to see so many of my images published, even the landscapes on the picture postcards!
As many photographers are these days I also moonlight as a Photoshop Wizzard / Manipulator and quite happy to help advise where I can.
