A photographer is defined as someone who takes pictures; anyone can take a picture but it takes a talent to capture absolute memories. Albert Riley is an upcoming photography who possesses not only the skills to create a photographic image but also the talent to take his clients outside of the box and into a realm of freedom, creativity and thus lock in memoirs for the future.

As a child, Albert remembers when his father bought home a new camera and he lost it! What started off as a childhood hobby, taking pictures with whatever camera he can get his hands on, Albert Riley has turned it into a passion. Albert attended the International Academy of Design and Technology in Schaumburg, Illinois where he majored in Multimedia. Albert enjoyed working in Graphic Design but had a true love for photography; it wasn’t until 2006, when Albert Riley was turned down for an internship with Disney’s animation company Pixar, that he made the life altering decision to follow his heart and become a photographer.

Albert Riley graduated the International Academy of Design and Technology in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Since then, he has been set on expanding his craft and his business in his hometown of Rockford, Illinois. Born and raised in Rockford, Albert Riley’s talent has been utilized in various forms, with a clientele as diverse as he is. From up and coming models to church functions to new musical groups, Albert knows how to cater to the masses.

With his teddy bear persona and ability to make a mother feel like a model, Albert Riley can turn a photo shoot into an iconic session. “He knows how to make you loosen up and helps you create a character or something that you want to portray in the picture,” said a client during one of her sessions. “The finished product was amazing and made me feel like I could be a model.”

Albert Riley is continuing to make his name known throughout Rockford and beyond; inspired by music and always looking to recreate a style to make it all his own. Albert applies his extensive knowledge of graphic arts to his photographs, enhancing them with additional imagery or designing logos and business cards for prospective clients.

“I want to capture moments…memories that everyone can share,” Albert said.

So far, he is off to a captivating start.
