Laura Flannery began her acting career on stage and kept with it until the age of fourteen. Looking to expand beyond the stage she signed with a talent agent and took on-screen acting classes with Mikko Maccione. It wasn’t long after that she booked a principal role in a Zocor national commercial. She continued to focus on Film and Television work and landed roles in a variety of independent films and television commercials.
Today, you can find her as leading lady in independent films like Maggie and The Luchador where she plays an emotionally scarred girl who finds purpose in life by befriending and helping a self destructive retired Luchador. She recently returned to the stage and performed in Yevgheny Shvarts’ version of Cinderella as a hilarious Anna, Cinderella’s stepsister, at Rivertown Theater. Currently she’s working on a web series called 444. Some other films she has worked on that are in post-production include A Dame Called Humidity, Her Name Was Alice, and Simple.
Laura still works as a principal commercial actor, you can find her in commercials for Adler’s Jewelry, Go-Auto Insurance, Lenovo, Chase Bank, Tobacco Free Living PSA and many others. Laura is also a talented print model. She has been in ads for Visit Orlando, ABC Liquor, Lakeside Mall, Hemline Boutique, Vanessa V Boutique and many others.
Laura has trained with many acting coaches, such as Daniel Dupont, Tom Todoroff, Casey Groves, and Dean West. She has recently taken an interest in Improv and is training at The New Movement Theater with Tami Nelson.
Laura is signed with Heyman Talent agency representing her in Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In Florida she is represented by Azuree Talent Agency.
