About me
Hi, My name is Crystal Torres. I am 21 years old residing in Rochester, New York. College student majoring in Communications and Media Arts. My ethnicity is Puerto Rican & Italian! Throughout my high school years I've become interested in Fashion...not just the typical shopping, but modeling in local fashion shows, and ads. I began my journey in the year of 2008 and have continued to surprise myself in the many opportunities that have come my way. I became a Black Pearl Model in 2009 and took part in the First Annual Black Pearl SwimWear Show. I've modeled for Hot Tips Salon for 2 years, I've worked with Double Take Photography, Dahylin Serrano, Frank White, Shoranda Iyez, Goodknews Photography,Pixyst, King Images,Brett, Myz. Cheryl, Crystalz, Rome Celli, Sarah Safura, Birch Imaging, Maurice-Venu, Bipolar Couture, COnde Couture, Bales Clothing, Mary Gurnow, Black Pearl, Sean Charles, Nathaniel's Originals, Ken Dobson & much more. I was featured as model of the month of July Edition of Flyer Promo Magazine of 2010. This year of 2010 I've hosted my very own 1st Annual Show of "La Beaute est en Vous"...A line of many different designers from Miami, Buffalo, and Rochester, local performers, and models given the opportunity to explore their talent. I work with Channel 18 (WHATS HOT IN THE ROC) & Channel 15 (MC FIGHT KLUB) as a Fashion Interviewee. I promoted for NEW MONEY ENTERTAINMENT-advertising talented comedians & shows. I help coordinate fashion shows, as well as shoots such as the Motorcycle Seminar Event including the Calendar shoot in Rochester 2011. Designed my own outfits for Deep Diversion "think green", which was my 2nd show that took place at Venu Resto Lounge. I participated in Rochester Fashion Week with many designers, make-up artists, models n etc. The past shows I've appeared in were Nathaniel's Originals, Heat Bubble Wrap, and Gorda's Hair Show. I coordinated "The Eye So Metric Stylist Competition" at Venu Resto Lounge. Joined Goodknews Photography Team as a Fashion Consultant. I partnered with Champagne Brown, an upcoming designer in Rochester, New York. Together we put on a loungerie show called, PINK with Angel Wings. Great Success. I'm so blessed to be within the so many opportunities handed to me, & will continue to explore the road ahead.
