Behind the camera of φ (phi) photography is the mind of Rick Yagodich.

Rick's photographic roots go back to his youth, but were only grasped seriously in early 2008. Never satisfied with simply pointing a camera, he concentrated on building interaction into his shots through a full understanding of composition: how elements in an image play off each other to draw the eye to a subject.

Reasonably experienced in a variety of styles and subject matters, Rick's new goal is to get to grips with model work: to master lighting and better understand how the body communicates through poise and posture. He aims to use a combination of lighting practice sessions and set-piece themed sessions to build a portfolio, and a signature style.

φ photography is based on the western outskirts of London.

Chaperones are always accepted on shoots - if nothing else, they will be put to work as lighting assistants.
