WHAT ARE MY THOUGHTS ABOUT TFP/TFCD?
I get this question a lot so here are my thoughts on it. I DO NOT do TFP's or TFCD's anymore. The reason for my decision is simple, I currently have a fairly strong portfolio and really do not have a need to do working comp card style images anymore for my books. If you would like to schedule a shoot, you can see my packages and rates on this site. My rates are very reasonable and you will get the shots you need.
WHAT ABOUT TESTING??
Testing is completely different than a TFP/TFCD for me. How is this any different you might ask? Let me explain. For a TFP/TFCD shoot, I tend to see these as giving away my work because they are pretty much images I have done a thousand times and geared towards a models book. When I test with a model, I'm looking for a specific shot for my professional portfolio and the model has to meet the criteria for that image. I shoot only that image but do allow the model to use it for their books also.
DO I HAVE THE LOOK FOR A TEST?
You know the old saying, "it never hurts to ask" but with all my concepts, you will have to hit that idea exactly for consideration.
Another factor that has slowed down my testing has been the fact that I've been photographing weddings almost every weekend along with having two young children..... my Saturday's are pretty well gone so if you do ask for a test, please make sure you are available to shoot during the week or on Sunday.
DO YOU EVER TRAVEL AND IF SO, WHEN?
This is the off season in regards to my wedding commitments so my traveling has picked up. I also just gained access to a fantastic studio in Philadelphia so I am planning on visiting it a few times over the next couple of months.
Well all you have to do is ask. Have a great winter and thanks for reading.
