Most of my auditions and featured episode shoots will be in California, most likely within the Greater Los Angeles - Orange County areas! My work in the USA is now entirely thematic and video-based, just as it's been for awhile in London, Milan and other parts of Europe. Once in a while, I may still venture to either New York or a city in Canada for a special road audition week. Nothing's planned just now.
I have been a part-time professional photographer for many years. I also have a very serious day job in the New York area which keeps me a virtual prisoner. I have worked for numerous small magazines, including a one time gig with Teen Magazine, and quite assiduously on my own projects. I was a female shooting male models with almost an entirely female staff. Imagine that! Now, I sit at the head of a relatively impressive global presence in addition to doing noble work for local humanity!
I am currently looking for new guys to shoot in ongoing projects of a unique nature. For sure, my current work is unconventional and all video-related for internet and television audiences. Those audiences build careers and provide the right kind of exposure. No naughty stuff.
Most of my work has been with guys from the USA, Canada, England, the Netherlands, and Italy; here and there. Frankly, I'm very proud of the well-wishers that I have accumulated all around the globe. That, at least to me, is what Model Mayhem is all about -- the energy of giving and receiving! I am professional, but I am fun. I like to incorporate the rowdy into quality and reality. Most importantly, I treat "my guys" like GOLD (and worthy newbies like diamonds in the rough).
My current projects seek TICKLISH GUYS (preferably, who hate to be tickled under any and all circumstances) to be featured in my reality TV and video series. No lie. My goal is to see how guys react to actually BEING TICKLED over time and in a variety of different situations. Although odd sounding, it is a completely legitimate and clean undertaking. If it weren't, I would not be here. I have held rather "famous" ongoing productions in New York City and now do so, as needed, mostly in California. Sometimes the ticklers are females; at other times, they are guys. My work has never had a sexual component. It's not a "gay" thing, a "fetish" project, or adult content trying to disguise itself as something else. The focus is on a science incorporated in male athleticism, endurance, competition against self and others, and natural body sculpture exhibited while under a unique sort of stress. Clothes are always on; just one episode is gym shorts only to feature the abdominal constructions of auditioning and featured guys. My work is in the active voice. I shoot PARTICIPANTS, not models.
My work features no nudity, implied nudity or anything that would shock grandma.
You'll need a cleanly shaved face and chest. No other appearance changes.
Unfortunately, my projects do not lend themselves to models with body art of any kind, size or shape. I work exclusively with participants who are 18-25 years of age and several appearance and release contracts (including ID) are required.
I'm looking to work with hip, masculine, hot, athletic guys, from the newbie to the very experienced, on camera. I love athletes, especially surfers and extreme sportsmen. I've found that such guys often enjoy working with me the most! Guys from Asian and Polynesian ancestry are wanted especially, as are guys with longer hair and those who live in California, the Western Part of the United States, Hawaii and Australia. Canadians, I want you too, eh; very damn much. Few kinds of people turn me off, but if you're on "that track," then we'll be headed for a train wreck and how.
All of my shoots, whether auditions or featured callbacks, pay well and placements when I cast are highly competitive. Most recently, I was only able to audition 17 guys out of 422 applicants. My late September 2011 callbacks number just 6 participants for production of Season Six episodes using an older format.
Mine is not just local work. Participants are welcome to apply from all over the United States, Canada, Europe...the world. I mean it, guys! If you're not local (and most guys with whom I work are not), round trip airfare, four star lodgings, and a generous meal allowance are all on me. Do your homework.
