About MeI started taking pictures around the house growing up with my 2 younger sisters. They always encouraged me to be something I didn't always see myself as: a model. My features, unmistakably Ethiopian have given me great pride. Artists and photographers alike have hand picked me over the years to model for them. I've posed as the queen of Sheba by Tesfaye Negusse who is currently making an enormous painting in a huge chapel in Atlanta, Ga. and even more recently for a published photographer whose name by contract I can't mention yet as queen Cleopatra. It gives me great pride and strength to pose as these powerful African woman who've made a permanent imprint on history's pages. I also plan to make my own stamp on modeling history as a print model. I know I have what it takes to bring the sheer elegance of Iman on film and the creativity of ... while modeling I imagine myself as a rare beautiful black rose stretching it's face towards the sun to absorb every bit of warmth and energy I possibly can. I am an amateur photographer as well so i understand camera angles from both perspectives (in front and behind the flash ) . I hope to work with anyone who is passionate about portraying life, love and dreams thru the lens....
