Hi,
How are you? I am looking for models that want to do a "Trash the Dress" session. If you have a wedding dress, or something that looks close to it. We should talk.
You don't really have to trash the dress. It's really doing something outside of a wedding that has to do with your personality. Let me know if you are interested, or know someone who is.
Some ideas such as:
car repair
abstract painting
berry-picking
grape squashing (who owns a vineyard? that would be sweeeeeet)
tree climbing
dog walking
walking in the forest
horse-back riding
go-cart racing
dirt bike riding
fishing
tubing
Rafting
Mountain biking
rolling in mud
lying on the beach
playing in a fountain
sitting on a sidewalk
barn or ghost town
urban alley
the dump
etc.
This is TFCD, and looking to have you sign a model release for me to use the images on my site, and marketing pieces.

I am working on a project set for Saturday, December 15th from 10:00 - 2:00. Would you be interested?
High emotional expressions.
This would be asking a lot from anyone who is willing to push themselves. I'm looking for upset (like your best friend just died), anger, happy (I'm talking laughing until you bust a gut, and tears comming to your eyes from laughing so hard). Anguish, to the point that you are training for the olympics. Sweat dripping, vains popping out of your body. I want to see the good pain. This shoot would be very demanding, and not easy...for you since your actually doing the work out. Like I said, this project would be very difficult...emotionally.
These types of shots will be good for your comp card, because it's going to show your abilities. It will help me to show art directors that I can be creative.
I am booking a studio & Make Up Artist. I am looking for all of us to share the cost for the studio, make up, and Image CD's (you will receive all the images we take that day on a Image CD) The final cost is a mere $20.
Please let me know asap. There is a limited amount of space. I will want to be able to get a deposit. This will ensure that I don't get stuck paying the whole bill for the studio.
Yes, I could come to each of you individually. But, I just don't have the time to do that. Also, having to constantly book a make up artist can be a little difficult (the make up still cost money).
I want to thank all of you for your interest in this project. If you don't mind I'd like to give you my quick story so you'll understand where I'm coming from.
I've been in the photography field on & off for the last 23 years. Mainly on and off because of financial reasons. I hate the fact that money can rule our lives sometimes, but that's just the way it goes.
Currently I work a full time job photographing cars for car dealers. It's a regular paycheck, and puts food on the table...for now. But, it's not letting me tap into the creative part of my soul. In my spare time. I shoot on the weekends, and whenever it works for someone.
I love to photograph people. Everyone has such a different outlook on life, and I want to capture it in one way or another. One of my goals is to have ongoing projects that will produce enough income to not have to work for someone else...isn't that what we all want. I've been putting all my ducks in a row My family ,14 year old son & wife for the last 10 years, totally supports me.
I am feeling a sense of urgency, and want to start booking out full day shoots with as many people as possible. I want to work with those of you that are serious about your goals, and push ourselves in-front of those who write the checks. I guess I'm looking to build a team to collaborate with. Please let me know where you stand, and really be honest with yourself. Together we can accomplish everything we want.

I will be asking for signed model releases. I wish I could offer to pay, but until I have people knocking my door down. I feel that we need to work together to build a versatile portfolio...don't you agree?
Part of my plan is to print a photo book of different expressions. Each page that has your photo in it. Will have your name, and contact info. It's kind of a portfolio book. I'm going to be knocking on peoples doors showing my book to, art directors, creative directors, editors, galleries, etc. Anyone that could potentially write a check. It's going to be a lot of work, and we can all benefit from it.
I am open to ideas.
I have a studio that I put in my home, but feel that it's not big enough for this project. So, that's why I'm renting one out.
I feel that the different expressions is what will make the shots stand out. I do have a few props, but not that many. So, what ever you think would work...bring it.
