My images are an exploration of the meaning of the erotic impulse and identity: how it can be depicted and what its role is in the creation and dissemination of images. It's an investigation that relies on surrealist techniques of automatism, transposition and erotic obsession.
I run rolls of film through the camera multiple times over several sessions to allow for random juxtapositions and combinations. In this way the obscured and hidden aspects of existence can be examined and dissected and, in the best scenarios, allow some meaning to be extracted that might not otherwise be accessible.

Models – I am looking for individuals with commitment and intensity. Anyone who can help create a sense of enigma or psychological motion is particularly valuable to me as a collaborator.

While this is a personal expression and not a product for any of the industrial markets, I do try to promote these images and have enough commercial intent that I will need both a signed release and 2257 paperwork filled out (including a copy of ID).

Digital files of the work we do will be available to you, be aware that it will be months and may be years before either of us have these files (it's a long process). You can use these as you see fit and may even alter them if you'd like. Please be careful to credit me for the work I do and only for the work I do.

I request that you wear the least amount of makeup that you are comfortable with.

I believe it's worth considering why we make images and what relation they have to our selves.

My home and studio is located just north of Asheville.
