I am an artist (oil, acrylic, soft pastel, pencil) and writer living in Los Angeles and Cairo, Egypt.
A life-long student of mythology (a term I do not care for) and spirituality, I like to explore these themes in my newer work. I try to make my art a statement about my life and my approach to drawing and painting is a reflection of the way I view the world.
In my past, I have illustrated album covers (before the CD!), playbills, posters, and magazine articles - and have worked on many, many private portraits.
I am a member of the Portrait Society of America and The California Art Club and have a pending membership with Oil Painters of America.
