Thank you all for asking to be in projects. I do have people in for projects occasionally, but in order to qualify for a trade (trade means you will recieve 3 to 5 edited images) you must have something to offer besides your time. The amount of skill, props, money, equipment, photoshop skill and editing time, driving around looking for props, not to mention my 105 year old house thats falling apart.........upsets the balance of your offering your time. I mean that in the most respectful of ways. You must have more to offer than your time, ex: out-of-sight wardrobe, publishing connections, etc. The fastest way to get in front of my camera is to book a paid sitting. You can make payments via paypal if you don't have the fee all at once. I am greatful for everyones interest and support, and I sincerly thank you.
I am a photographer, by trade, but I am really an artist. There aren't many art pieces posted here currently, those can be found in the Studio of Curiosities album of my myspace page. My photography has evolved and changed so much recently. It still has that bit of creepiness to it, but it has become much more fashion and style based. I am shooting a very wide range these days including........gothic, pinup, boudoir, avant garde, and glamour. Any of these styles can be done in a vintage style or modern. I will do TF/CD only for specific projects that I'm working on. If I do a trade with you I will edit ONLY 3 to 5 images.
Things you need to know when shooting with me. Art shoots take ALOT of time. Getting you lit properly in the set takes most of the time. Hair and makeup for an art shoot can take as long as three hours for one set. Do not expect to breeze in and be leaving with awesome results in 2 hours. Depending on what we are shooting you must be prepared for that amount of time. You get out of a shoot what you put into it, if you are properly prepared you will get good results.
Message me for pricing.
Winter 2009/2010 project-Women Entombed. I will be selecting a few VERY EXPERIENCED models to participate in this project. Must be in great physical shape and VERY flexible.
Art has been displayed at The Butler Institute of American Art, the Pittsburgh arts festival, the International Dream Institute, That Damned Show-Detroit, the Oakland Center for the Arts-Youngstown, and Shutterbug Magazine, former photography teacher at Youngstown State University.
