Poetic Spectre

I'm working full time, trying to pay the bills, so most of this stuff is on hold.  I am currently (Sept-Oct 2009) looking for a couple of models for a high fashion type shoot.  I need tall, lean, elegant looking models.  No preference for skin, hair, or eye color.  E-mail me for more info.

My photography as of late has been primarily family and infant portraits, which I do enjoy doing, but I would love to get back to doing some of the more artistic edgy stuff.  The problem is finding the time to do so...

For the modles looking to shoot with me on my projects I tend to pull from those that have good reputations that I know will show up and give me 100%.  I'm easy to work with, I'm fun and goofy but my shoots do tend to be short and too the point.  No four hour shoots here!  Due to this I no longer offer as many images per shoot either.  Because I'm pickier than I use to be and I tend to shoot for that one shot, not for 100 of them.  But I've never had a model be dissapointed with what they get from me.

**Models, if you're going to alter any image I've taken of you, you need to run the final product by me before posting, and you need to credit the alteration to yourself, not to me.  Most photographers dislike others altering their images.**

I love kids and enjoy working with them, but a short note to underage models: Parent must be present.  All clothing must be age approproiate, by my standards.  If I don't think it's right, I won't shoot it, period.

OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS: I do not teach.  My methods and style are mine and mine alone and I learned them through trial and error, and continue to learn that way.  I highly recomend doing so yourself, I think it helps you find your niche.  AND I have allowed others to gleen from my shoots in the past and it's led to an attempt to duplicate my work (intentional or not), which I despise, and it will make me loose respect for you.  Sorry, but honesty keeps the lines clear.

I spent some time studying B&W photography in college, two years or so.  I use to develop my own film and prints but now I shoot digital and do all my processing on the computer.  I've been published and displayed in small venues.  I dream of doing this for a living.
