As a youth Brittny was always intrigued by fashion. Despite having no sewing skills she would create outfits for her dolls and her self out of old t-shirts. She was the only 6th grader wearing snakeskin high-heels to school one day and the next day playing androgynous in hush puppies and a silk tie. It was no surprise when she decided to move to New York for college to be in the midst of one of the most creative and inspiring populations in the world.
In NYC she began her foray into fashion as a fashion intern at the currently defunct JANE Magazine. It was here that she was recognized for her talented eye for style and the ability to get the job done, assisting numerous fashion features during her period with the magazine. Since then Brittny has acquired a strong styling deftness derived from trend forecasting, visual merchandising, and networking with various retail companies and PR firms. She has also had the privilege of assisting an array of talented stylists for publications such as InStyle, O, and Paper Magazine.
Brittny sights her style inspirations as Shala Monroque, Chloe Sevigny, Soul Train dancers, and her Mom. She aspires to make any and everyone look stylish, feel fabulous, and always put their most fashionable foot forward. Brittny is looking to network with hair stylists, make up artists, photographers and designers who are interested in pooling their talents to inspire the masses.
