"I'm a bohemian German woman who grew up on a farm in the Midwest. I was named after my Grandpa's favorite singer's (Elvis) daughter. The voice of Rod Stewart and Linda Ronstadt filled my ears while I was head banging in the front seat of my parents Astro van as a little girl. 'Hot Legs' inspired me to own more black nylons than Cher and a pair of kick ass cowboy boots. My mother sang me to sleep with James Taylor and Carole King songs. My older sister and I are still trying to learn all of the words to 'We Didn't Start the Fire'. As a child I used to sneak in my older brother's room to listen to his Nirvana, Weezer, and Everclear albums. As a woman I was riding on a train across Germany when I realized I am the definition of a Janis Joplin song."
"We learned more from a 3 minute record baby then we ever learned in school." Bruce Springsteen's words have never been transformed into clothing quite like this. Rock and Roll culture and music have inspired me to create a collection that transcends the sound of any vinyl record. Leather, lace, and denim compliment silks and prints in a collection of black, purples, and pinks in the Spring 2011 collection. I hold a bachelor's degree in apparel design and production and also a bachelors in public relations. I'm looking to network myself and my collection on this site so that I might better share my collaboration of music and fashion with the world.
