Brandin Pope, 23, is a professional recording artist and model. He completed his first demo at the age of 11, and has since written and co-produced much of his own material. At 18, he clinched a top ten spot in Chicago Idol…which was sponsored by 103.5 KISS FM. That same year, he won the Quad City Idol Contest and a ticket to Hollywood. Once there, he discovered a passion for modeling.
From that time until now, he has continued to juggle a full-time university course load at Illinois State University with modeling and studio recording sessions. New York agencies such as Boss Models and Models on the Way Management have provided extensive opportunities for him nation-wide. Chicago, Toronto and Florida have also been great to him.
Brandin is now a featured face and ambassador for Jack-n-Jill, an LA-based clothing line inspired by upper-class black culture. Recently, he returned to Manhattan and connected with his good friends at a major record label. When asked for the secret to his success, Brandin simply stated, “Faith…it can take you anywhere.”
