My name is Landon J. Smothers and photography is my life's passion. I started taking pictures while I was in the Navy touring the world. However, I have always been interested in art and the intrinsic beauty in nature. I joined the strobist.com community when I got out of the Navy and learned off-camera lighting in the subsequent 5 years. I am an aspiring professional photographer and full time student. I would love to use this community as a networking opportunity and I'm always looking for excuses to get out and shoot.
