The sensualist style seeks to project onto a two-dimensional plane that which exists in an entirely different reality.  Rather than let specific film types and processes dictate the ‘pathway’ to the finished picture, the sensualist  selects the media and the process that will be the best vessel in which to manifest the image.The sensualist seeks connection with all that exists and all that is but a dream...  to see that which we can only taste, or smell, touch, or hear, requires a leap of faith; that, if we give ourselves the permission, can be facilitated through the creation of art.  It is our desire to help reacquaint us all with our sensual selves and reconnect us to the World our physical bodies move through in the process.  Altered and incomplete as it may be. The camera records a unique field of view. Is it truth?  What is truth? I understand fully why some cultures believe the camera 'steals' one's soul.  It is for this reason that Candace and I do not desire to simply photograph you; no, we want to meet you.  On the film plane.  Like all sentient things that exist as but a shadow in this reality, the words that I might offer don't really convey what it is the soul wishes to convey ...
